Surf Party
What's up dudes and dudettes? A surf party is totally going down on Venice Beach. We're going to be riding waves all night until the lifeguards and cops bust us.
The shows going down at four until whenever. We're meeting by the rocks underneath the boardwalk. We need to find the perfect spot for the most gnarly waves.
The dress code is strictly bath suits and surfboards. Bring a pair of comfortable sneakers just in case we have to run from the cops . Longboards are definitely a need to dip out faster.
My boy is djing strictly Californian alternative music and beats we can chill to. The D.J is also holding a surfing competition. The winner wins a brand new surfboard and a thousand dollars cash. Totally sick dudes!
PiƱa coladas and hot dogs grilled on the fire. We can even fish for an awesome seafood dinner.
There will be alcohol but I highly advise that if you want to catch some waves.
This party is going to be the biggest wave on the block. Don't be lame and miss out on this! It would be a bummer if you wiped out and didn't chill out with your dudes.

Open Letter to Movie Texters
December 7, 2014
Dear Movie Texters:
Please turn off your cellular device while the movie is playing! There is a reason why they have signs placed around the theatre and a commercial before the movie clearly stating to put the phone away. You are the people who ruin this experience for everyone. Not only are you distracting others away from the movie, you are being flat out selfish.
The brightness of your phone overpowers the movie screen. It's like I have a constantly glare on the corners of my eyes. I feel like I need protective glasses to avoid the lighting in a dark room.
The click-clacking of your fingers rapidly gliding across the screen to each letter is an extreme annoyance. I get very agitated after the first couple of seconds. If it's that important texting your friends or family members take your cell phone outside away from the people who are actually paying attention.
The laugher and comments when you receive a call is obnoxious and rude. If the call is not important then wait until after. If it's that important take your cell phone outside away from the people who are actually paying attention.
I can't stress it enough, every time I go to the movies I always see at least three people around me texting. I don't think that constant chirping every time you receive a text message is a bird flying around the theatre. Is this a new trend?
People pay good money to go out and watch an enjoyable movie. If you're not interested in the movie it doesn't mean others aren't. Texting can wait, it's not going anywhere. So please people the next time you text just think about others before yourself.
